A Festive Day Out
Simon and I headed out for a morning of Christmas decoration shopping and cinnamon bun eating yesterday. It's a good combo. I haven't felt all too festive this year as I've been busy working on my homeware business but we finally had a day off together to enjoy a wonder in town. First up was Liberty to have a look at their Christmas shop. I bought a few amazing decorations to add to my collection and I stared longingly at the HAY products in the homeware section.
I went to pick up a Michael Rosen book as I absolutely love his poetry and then headed to Fabrique to prove that their cinnamon / cardamom buns are the best in London.
I wore my new Annie Haak Three Star Silver Ring and blue Star Friendship Bracelet which felt super festive. I have become seriously into stars and planets recently (I've been designing lots of new patterns featuring space themed motifs) so I love Annie's star collection so much. I think they'd make wonderful Christmas gifts as they're so reasonably priced too.
After a tea and a bun sampling we realised that we had only had sugary food all day so headed to Fortnum and Masons to pretend to be posh and pick up a savoury treat of some sort. Whilst there I also shopped for a Christmas gift for a friend and coveted over the ridiculously swanky decorations and crackers.
What are you doing to get in the festive spirit this year?
