January Favourites

There are certain things that always make me happy in the void left behind after Christmas. The typical things like cosy textiles, warmly spiced food and jewel toned clothing but I'm also looking forward to Spring and all the lightness that comes with that season.  Personally this month I'm focussing on a new collection of textile designs and thinking up new products so I keep catching myself spotting beautiful patterns. I hope you enjoy this collection of my favourite things this month.

I've been dreaming of a pink sofa for ages, I still haven't convinced Simon yet! Via A Beautiful Mess

Oversized sweaters are perfect for January, I especially love this one by Hackwith Design House

I loved curries in January, specifically vegan ones to balance out all the heavy Christmas food. This Sweet Potato and Coconut Milk Soup with Brown Rice and Lentils from Katie at the Kitchen Door looks delicious.

Ochre, inky blue and putty are my three favourite colours at the moment. I'm actually planning on giving our bedroom a mini makeover with these tones soon. Via Apartment Therapy

I keep seeing oversized padded coats everwhere and I kinda want one. This burgundy velvet one from Asos looks really cosy.

Eva Magill-Oliver's sketchbooks are really beautiful and her colours are always on point.

I saw these shoes on Pinterest and thought they were so cool, probably ridiculously annoying to get on but hey. Shoes by Lou Lou Ballerina

I can't wait until we live somewhere where I can have a separate office space, maybe this year. Via Seventeenth and Irving

I've been craving chocolate a lot recently and this Double Baked Chocolate Meringue Brownie recipe is ticking all the boxes.

I absolutely love Mia Chaplin's work and Simon and I have agreed that we'd like to buy more original artwork this year.
