My Favourite Online Interior Shops
Simon and I are in the process of changing our bedroom a little. We've lived in our flat for four years and most of the furniture and decorative objects to in our bedroom are things I bought when I first moved to London many moons ago. We've put quite a lot of thought into our living room so I think it's time we update the bedroom to match our current styles. At the moment it's more vintage looking than I'd like, the aim is to bring in some Scandinavian elements along with some Mid-Century pieces so it matches the rest of the flat. To gather inspiration I've been doing a lot of online window shopping, so I've decided to collect my favourite online homeware shops to share with you.
Rose & Grey brings together a gorgeous selection of vintage inspired pieces, Scandinavian styling and Mid-Century furniture. It's basically my perfect store as it encapsulates all my favourite styles in one place, a dangerous thing for me!
Decorators Notebook
Decorators Notebook specialises in ethically made and sustainable products so you know you're supporting fair trade practices with these guys. Not only are many of the products earth and people friendly they're also completely gorgeous too.
Plumo
I've liked Plumo for many years, I first discovered it when my mum would get their catalogues in the post. They source quite unusual pieces from around the world as well as stocking lots of beautiful clothes and shoes too.
Cup & Cloth
Cup & Cloth stock a beautiful range of retro homewares alongside a curated selection of handmade products made by crafts people in the UK and further afield too. I love their moody styling and collection of wicker pieces.
Toast
I pop into my local Toast in Islington quite often as it's a great place to pick up beautiful linen dresses and outerwear that will last for years. They also stock a beautiful range of ceramics, throws and natural candles too. A great one stop shop for gifts.
Minor Goods
I love Minor Goods, they produce the most beautiful ceramics and denim aprons. All their pieces are timeless and I know they would perfectly suit most homes thanks to the simplistic design. The glazes on their dinnerware are simply gorgeous!
Curious Egg
Curious Egg is the perfect place if you love vintage or homespun style. They have a lovely selection of cosy looking throws, beautiful wallpapers, and a really great selection of unusual lighting. I love their selection of 70's inspired pieces in particular.
Hay
I couldn't write a blog post about homeware stores and not mention the Danish interiors giant Hay. In my eyes this brand can do no wrong. I love their selection of stationery, decorative pieces, and lighting. Every time I go into one of their shops I can't leave empty handed!
Houseology
Houseology is a great website for most homeware needs. I imagine that you could buy everything you could possibly need for you home from this brand. They have a great selection of styles to choose from as well as some more high end designer pieces too.
Workshop
My favourite shop in Brighton is also available online, which makes me so happy. Workshop specialises in beautifully made products that will last for years. I love their timeless designs with a touch of Scandinavian styling. Plus a lot of the stuff they stock is grey, which I love.
The French House
Simon and I used to visit the French House a lot back when they had a shop on Lambs Conduit Street, we love their collection of vintage clocks and glassware. I doubt you could really go wrong with anything from the French House as they source the most beautifully classic homewares imaginable.
Pedlars
Pedlars have a few stores dotted around London but their online shop is fantastic too. They sell a great selection of bright, fun and vintage items which are perfect for cheery homes. They also love dogs to so its win, win, win for me.
Cow + Co
Cow + Co sell a great range of homeware products alongside some beautiful traditional children's toys and magazines. Most of their items are pretty simple but really well made with a focus on the little details and natural materials.
