Bohemian Garden Party Inspiration

Sadly my flat doesn't have a garden but Simon and I would absolutely love to have one, mainly so we can have a little doggy friend. I also really enjoy growing herbs on our balcony so I would love to have a proper vegetable patch one day. A garden is on the top of our must have list for when we're ready to move so because of that and as it's so hot in London right now I thought it would be a great idea to write a garden party inspiration post.

I love bohemian and mid century design so I had so much fun creating the mood board below. There's something very relaxed about boho living so floor cushions, finger foods and lots of flowers are a must. I was asked by Fishpools to style my perfect Summer garden party using one of their outdoor furniture pieces as the base for my scheme. I've sourced my top picks from my favourite homeware shops to create a 1970's style party. Keep on reading to find out how you can create your own laid back knees-up.

You can find all the images I've used above in my party Pinterest board.  I started with one of Fishpool's outdoor dining sets as the base for all the decorative pieces. This one has a bit of a retro vibe so I thought it would be a perfect starting point. Have a little scroll down the page to see all my other picks, there's a pretty epic cheese and wine picnic basket down there and who doesn't need one of those?

Well now I really want a garden! To be honest I don't need any more excuses to buy more homeware stuff so maybe it's a good thing that I only have a teeny balcony. I hope you enjoyed this post and collected a few ideas to help you create your own bohemian garden party.
