Brides Magazine Bloggers Dinner with Moet

A few weeks ago I rushed over Waterloo Bridge to arrive, slightly flustered, to the Savoy Hotel for an incredible evening with the Brides Magazine and Moet & Chandon teams. I was treated to an amazing dinner with champagne pairings along with many other truly lovely wedding and lifestyle bloggers. It was an incredible evening and one I'm likely to remember for years.

If you've been reading my blog for a little while you may have seen the post I wrote about the last Brides Magazine dinner here. That evening was exceptional, and knowing what the Brides team is capable of I knew that this special evening was likely to be equally good as the last one.

When I arrived to the River Room I was swiftly offered a mini bottle of Moet champers and shown to the back of the room to have my photo taken against a stunning floral wall. All the floral displays of the evening were created by Maison de Fleurs with styling by Bruce Russell to help the blooms look even more gorgeous. The main table, flower wall and other furniture were decorated using vintage style roses in shades of pink. The tablescape was incredibly feminine and clean, it featured long, white tapered candles with art deco inspired place settings and copper cutlery.

I think my favourite part of the evening had to be the champagne, we had a pairing for each course so I got the opportunity to try plenty of Moet! It was also wonderful to have the opportunity to eat at the Savoy, something I had always wanted to do. Our first course was a beef tartare, I'd always been too nervous to try it in the past, but it was delicious. The main course was a delicious cod dish followed by a very hearty selection of cheese. Each champagne we tried complemented the three courses really well, it was so interesting to experience the complex and diverse flavours of the different types of champagne.

As you can see from the photos it really was a beautiful evening, full of roses, candlelight and of course pink champagne! It gave me so much inspiration for my wedding and future party planning. I had so much fun talking to fellow bloggers and brides to be, I'm pretty sure I'll never get bored of talking about other people's weddings.

Thank you so much to the Savoy Hotel, Brides Magazine and Moet for a spectacular evening. A special thank you to Roberta Facchini for taking the photos.
