An Evening of Flowers and Jewellery

A couple of weeks ago I spent a really lovely evening browsing the new Pandora wedding collections and making a fresh flower crown at The Ivy in Chelsea. I was such a brilliant evening, there's something about faffing with flowers that makes me feel so relaxed and it felt wonderful to get into the wedding season spirit.

In the photo above I'm wearing the Vintage Allure Necklace as a bracelet.

The table was beautifully laid out and the private dining room in The Ivy was the most perfect setting for a floral evening. We spent the first half an hour getting to know each other over a few glasses of prosecco whilst looking over the newest wedding collection that Pandora had designed. Soon we were ready to learn how to make our own floral crowns.

We had a selection of beautiful pink blooms to choose from as well as a selection of foliage which were all designed to last a long time out of water. The workshop was run by Grace & Thorn, I have actually done one of their Christmas wreath classes before and their workshops are always really fun and educational. I went for the palest pink flowers with a mix of the ferns and ruscus which reminded me of my wedding bouquet.

I love the two necklaces hanging off the jewellery box mirror. Unfortunately, this photo doesn't really do their collection justice, the lighting was really yellow and it was getting dark (my photo editing is definitely not up to par!) But you can take a look at the wedding gifts herewhich were all on display at the event.

After a lot of canapes, glasses of fizz and one flower crown later it was time to call it a night! Scroll up to the top of the post to see the crown I made.  It was such a lovely way to spend a summer evening and the Pandora team were so friendly and hospitable.

My two favourite pieces from Pandora's necklace collection are this classic gold chain (I have a very similar one that I wear most days) and this cute bee charm which I think would work perfectly at a wedding, plus a bee is the perfect partner for a floral crown! If you'd like to have a browse at the Pandora wedding collection you can see everything they have right here .

Thanks so much to Pandora for inviting me along to their special wedding-themed evening at The Ivy . Also thanks to Grace & Thorn for running the flower crown workshop for us.
