My Favourite Ethical Clothing Brands
There’s been a lot of talk online recently about the fast fashion industry. From the William Morris x H&M debate (which I joined in on as it seems like such a weird collab) to the new BBC documentary Stacey Dooley Investigates : Fashion's Dirty Secrets which everyone I know seems to be talking about. I think its the perfect time to share my favourite sustainible and ethical fashion brands.
I’m not stranger to writing about fast fashion and I’ve been talking about how you can reduce your high street shopping a lot on Instagram stories recently, I’m really looking forward to sharing this post with you.
Thought Clothing produce laid back, classic pieces and specialise in creating comfortable clothes. A lot of their items feature bold prints too.
Everlane only work with the most ethical factories to produce their clothes. They design exceptionally well made basics that will last years and years.
People Tree is a really accessible and affordable brand that design a really great selection of clothes and accessories. A lot of their products have a more youthful feeling.
Matt & Nat are a vegan accessories brand, I see people wearing their backpacks all over London. They do really great shoes too.
Kotn support the fairest farms and factories to produce their range of t-shirts and other jersey pieces. The fabric is unbelievably soft.
Veja make environmentally friendly sneakers, made with materials sourced from organic farming, they also have a great vegan collection.
Beaumont Organic are a Manchester based company that specialised in super cool and oversized pieces. I love this turmeric coloured dress.
Toast regularly work with fair trade co-operatives to ensure that their collections are as sustainible as possible. I have always loved Toast, it’s one of my absolute favourite brands.
