Paper and print quality

What are C-type prints? It’s a modern version of the old school darkroom process. Unlike Giclée prints, which are essentially high quality inkjet prints, C-types are produced by a chemical process on light sensitive archival photographic papers.

Light sensitive silver coated paper (don’t worry, the paper doesn’t look silver) is exposed using an LED or laser light source and put through a conventional chemical developing process. I chose this method as I found it the best for optimal colour reproduction and true to life tones.

Frames 

My prints are sized to suit frames that are very easily available.

If you’re on a budget, inexpensive frames are available from Desenio and IKEA. Higher quality frames can be bought from places like John Lewis and West Elm but I personally love getting to know your local framers for a completely bespoke service, ohhh fancy!
